OUR STORY

Northhaven Financial Management was originally founded to address an identified gap within the market – the need for a more personalised and holistic approach to financial management.

Our team, initially led by Grant Innis and Bill Bundey, recognised that clients needed to be certain the advice they received was in their best interests. This became the foundation of the philosophy that drives us today.

We were strengthened when Erin Lynes joined in 2005, with her role expanding to Director in 2016.

In 2015 our team was rebranded to Northhaven Private Wealth and later that year Anthony Fernandopulle joined us as Associate Client Adviser. Anthony has since successfully moved into a Senior Advisor role within the company and is a key member of the advisory and portfolio management teams.

The business fosters long term relationships built on trust and transparency, with four of our team members having worked together for over ten years.

We believe that stability is key when it comes to financial management. Our team provides a support network that clients can rely on to manage their finances, as if they were their own.

GRANT INNIS – DIRECTOR

In 2000 Grant became Director and part owner of what is now known as Northhaven Private Wealth.

Beginning his career in the financial services industry in 1988, Grant has over 25 years’ experience providing discretionary portfolio management, investment selection and macro strategy advice.

Grant has extensive experience in auditing, compliance and investment research, share registries, financial advisory, tax structures and retirement planning.

ERIN LYNES – DIRECTOR

Erin has been a much valued member of the Northhaven team for almost 13 years.

She began her career in USA as a Product Manager for a large sports entertainment company and was involved in inventory management, human resources, and product design and distribution. Erin then relocated to Spain where she completed her Masters and worked as a Market Analyst.

Her extensive experience within multi-faceted bilingual roles makes Erin a valuable asset at Northhaven.

Erin specialises in building client relationships and developing and implementing financial strategies including Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) and superannuation strategies. She also continues to actively manage client portfolios.

ANTHONY FERNANDOPULLE – ADVISER

Anthony joined Northhaven in 2015, bringing with him over 10 years of experience within the financial services industry.

Beginning his career as part of the Asteron Life Group Insurance team, Anthony gained experience in re-rating policies, underwriting administration and policy updates.

Moving on to a role as a Paraplanner, he gained experience in SMSF administration and compliance, portfolio management, wealth accumulation, pre-retirement and retirement strategies and personal insurance.

JO VAN SAARLOOS – CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER

Jo has been an integral part of the Northhaven team for over 15 years, providing a high level of administrative and client services support.

She has over 25 years’ experience working within office management, with her career beginning in a public relations firm in New Zealand.

Jo’s extensive experience within financial management enables her to assist clients with many of their administrative tasks, as well as implement superannuation strategies, super fund maintenance requirements, corporate trustee compliance management, and co-ordinating and preparing for client’s regular review meetings.

KAREN ZILM – CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER

Karen began working at Northhaven over 14 years ago, when she and her family moved to Sydney from Adelaide. During this time, she has developed a close relationship with both the advisers and their clients.

Karen has an extensive background in administration and client services for financial and insurance companies, including BUPA and MLC. She is proactive in her role as Client Services Manager.

As well as performing a range of general administrative duties, it’s Karen’s responsibility to implement strategies and recommendations for clients, initiate portfolio set-ups and fulfill super fund requirements. She also handles corporate trustees and estate management.

KIRSTY MASON – CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER

Kirsty joined Northhaven in 2014 and has quickly become a valuable member of the team.

She assists clients with a range of matters such as scheduling and processing payments, portfolio set up and management, implementing superannuation strategies, and co-coordinating regular portfolio review meetings with advisers.

SHEROL ESBER – CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER

Sherol started with Northhaven in April 2013 working as the Administration & Reporting Manager and has now moved into a Client Service Manager role.

Sherol previously worked in an Accounting firm working alongside Accountants, Mortgage Brokers and Financial Planners and brings with her over 20 years of Administration experience and prides herself in her delivery of work and enjoys working with clients.

Sherol provides service in the following areas:-

  • Monitoring employer contribution levels
  • Transferring shares into portfolio accounts
